Thanks to all the parents and families who have donated, contributed, and volunteered to all the family and fundraising events the STAR Academy PTA has held over the past few months!

 

Did you know the PTA has been busy behind the scenes? This year the PTA Executive Board has achieved the following goals:

• $750 grant from New York Charities for purchasing books

• BioBus for PreK to 5th graders

• Lasker Ice Skating Rink rental

• A school supply kit per classroom

• Donated the caps and tassels for 5th Grade Graduation

• Lice check for all students

• Assemblies (African Drum & Dance, Robotics, Wild Animals, etc.)

• Field Trip equity fund

• Get Movin’ Night fundraiser for Coach Jones

• Music & Art Festival Fundraiser with contribution match

• Kindness Grams for 5th Grade class

• Hispanic Foundation Pay It Forward Event

• Wonder Workshop Dash & Dot Coding Robots

• Garden construction and maintenance

• Plus our annual Movie Nights, Scholastic Book Fair and Bake Sales!
